About Me

My photo
Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers taught me how to crochet and embroider on dish towels when I was a little girl, and that started my love of crafting. Over the years I tried different things but my favorite is still stamping and card making. And what makes it better now is that my 2 sisters like it also!! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! I love learning new ideas and techniques and give hope to others to step out of their comfort zone and try a few new things. Thanks so much for stopping by....follow along if you'd like and see what we can create!!

MFP #285 CAS sentiment, small stamp

MFP Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge 285 - CAS sentiment, small stamp

I love snowflakes and wanted to use them in this challenge. I masked off an area and randomly stamped a snowflake in 3 colors. Then I stamped my sentiment in the lower left corner. I added a little sparkle to the snowflakes with a metallic jelly roll pen. To finish it off I edged the card in the same ink as my sentiment.

MFP #284 Round the Corners

MFP Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge 284 - Round the Corners

I wanted to use some fall colors and selected stamps from two of Marks Finest Papers stamp sets.....Holiday Tags and Autumn Splender. I colored the leaves with Copic markers and added a ribbon from my stash.  The sentiment is a rub on from the Paper Studio. I used a decorative corner rounder (how embarrassing, I couldn't find my regular one!!). Oh well!

MFP SF&F Challenge 283

MFP Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge 283 - have 3 panels

I chose a stamp from Marks Finest Papers' Dogwood Blossoms stamp set and cut the image into 3 panels after coloring it. I added a small "Love You" stamp along with ice white PerlenPen for the flower centers.  The panels are mounted on piece of white paper that was die cut with a floral design.

MFP #282 Collage Stamping

MFP Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge 282 - Collage Stamping

This was my first attempt at collage stamping (thanks for the nice tutorial!) and it was a lot of fun!! I chose stamps from "Hot Air Balloon" and "Big Trees" stamp sets.  One word stamp is done in a light gray over the whole card, and the other word stamp is done in  a light blue randomly over the card.  I used the trees to give perspective to the hot air balloon (focal point) and used a few rhinestones to accent the balloon.
