About Me
- Terri Winske
- Hi, my name is Terri. I started crafting at an early age when my grandmothers taught me how to crochet and embroider on dish towels. Over the years I've tried many other crafting mediums, and have found my favorite in rubber stamping. My wonderful guy (Craig) supports me in everything I do........I'm very blessed!! I love learning new things and hopefully will inspire others to step out of their comfort zone and try a few new things. Thanks so much for stopping by....have a wonderful day!

MFP July Bloghop - One Sheet Wonder
MFP July Bloghop - One Sheet Wonder
I followed the tutorial for the One sheet Wonder and here is one of the cards I made using the pieces. I chose a flower-patterned paper for the background and mounted it on a cornflower blue paper. Then I mounted that on white cardstock. I used this daisy from Mark's Finest Papers, colored it with Copic Markers, and popped it up on the front of the card. I made a small banner with yellow cardstock and stamped Happy Birthday from Mark's "North American Woods" set. I couldn't decide if it needed anything else, and in the end I decided to leave it as it was. Le me know what else you would have done, if anything.......I'd love to hear your ideas!! Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!
MFP July Bloghop - Designer Washi Tape Tutorial
MFP July Bloghop - Designer Washi Tape Tutorial
For my Designer Washi Tape card, I chose bright blue and leafy green colors to match some very cute flowers I received from a close friend. First I colored the tape with bright blue and then stamped it with a stamp from Mark's "Enjoy the View" set. I added a piece of patterned green paper in between the 2 pieces of tape to help pull in the green color. I popped up the 2 flowers and added a sentiment from Mark's "North American Woods" set. I drew an outline around the edge of the card and finished it off with 3 small dots from a black Pearl pen. Thank you so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

MFP Challenge 30 - tan
MFP Challenge 30 - tan
I had so many ideas in my head when I started working on this week's challenge.......and then all of a sudden my mind went blank!! It took a little while to figure out what I wanted to do! I found two shades of tan colored paper in my stash to use for this week's card. I used a few different stamps to make the background flowers on 3 pieces of light tan paper. Then I mounted each piece of light tan on the darker tan paper. I colored a ribbon with my Copic markers to make it match. I stamped a "Happy Birthday" greeting from Mark's Finest Papers Firefighter stamp set and mounted it on darker tan before attaching to the card. And there it is..... Thanks very much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

MFP Stamps Challenge 29
MFP Stamps Challenge 29 - No Template Rocker Card
I used stamps from Mark's Finest Papers "Firefighter" stamp set this week in honor of all our firefighters and EMS personnel. We have many friends who work in this field and appreciate all that they do! First I followed the tutorial and cut the white cardstock into the correct shape. Then I covered the bottom with red cardstock, stamped the small fire trucks along the bottom of the card and anchored them with fire hydrants. Next I stamped the helmet and axes in Versamark on yellow cardstock. I stamped the emblem on red cardstock and used a circle die to create the small holes around the edges and cut it out. I glued it to the top tab and then stamped my words in the middle.
This was a cute tutorial.....a very easy way to make a unique card!! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!!

I was so excited for this challenge because I had recently been looking at CAS cards and found some great ideas for one layer cards! I started with a white card base, masked off an area and inked it with blue inks, fading as I moved toward the top of the card. Then I found a silhouette flower and stamped it in black, partially on the masked area. I used a dotted border stamp around the edges and added my sentiment. All stamps used were from Close To My Heart. Thank you for stopping by....have a wonderful day!!

Such great techniques at Mark's Finest Papers!! I used Northwoods watercolor paper and Distress Inks in 3 shades of purple for my card. I popped that piece up with mounting tape. I added 3 black rhinestones at the bottom to finish the card. I hope you join in the challenge, and thanks so much for stopping by!!

MFP June Bloghop - Tinfoil Tags
MFP June Bloghop - Tinfoil Tag Tutorial
I used a nautical theme for my project for this challenge. I really liked how the impression looked on the tinfoil. The glue held the tinfoil in place.....I guess I thought it might crinkle it up. I covered the tinfoil in blue ink, although it's hard to see from this picture. The stamp and sentiment are from Fun Stampers Journey. Thanks for stopping by.....have a great day!!
Thank you to MFP Stamps for a win in the blog challenge - I earned the stamp set "Bow Hunting". Can't wait to make some cool guy cards with it!!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 300 and Giveaway
Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 300 - The Paper Shelter - Fairies and Fantasy
For this challenge I used The Cutest Wizard from this week's sponsor, The Paper Shelter. Our theme is Fairies and Fantasy! The image was stamped on watercolor paper and colored with Tombow markers and a water brush. I embossed the purple cardstock with a stars and dots embossing folder and layered the green paper on top. I edged the watercolor paper with black ink, then layered it on black cardstock, which was layered on top of the green. I stamped a few whimsical things on the
green paper and added glitter to the crystal ball and the stars in the wizard's robe.

MFP Stamps Challenge 26
MFP Stamps Challenge 26 - White
What a great color for a challenge.....I think white cards are so beautiful. I used one of my favorite embossing folders.....butterflies!! I embossed two pieces of white paper, then fussy cut out the butterflies from one of them and ran them through the folder again so they would have a pattern on them. I glued the middles down on top of the other butterflies and bent up each side to make them 3-D. I stamped my sentiment from Mark's Holiday Tags set, then added a pretty white ribbon and bow.
The finishing touch was white pearls on the butterfly bodies. Thank you so much for stoppingby....have a wonderful day!!
I would like to thank Mark's Finest Papers for the win this week! I earned the "Enjoy theView" stamp set.

As You Like It Challenge
As You Like It Challenge - Favourite Die & Why
This butterfly die has been on my all-time favorite list since the moment I saw it!! A number of reasons are: I love butterflies and making butterfly cards, it is very versatile and can be used for many different occasions (birthday, thinking of you, thank you, sympathy, get well, etc.), and it makes a very easy but elegant card!! We all need those types of cards once in awhile!! I used a teal colored paper for the die cut image, then placed a shimmery white piece of paper behind it. I mounted these on white cardstock and stamped my sentiment. The final touch was a few white pearls on the butterfly bodies. Thank you for stopping by.....have a wonderful day!

This card was definitely a challenge for me.....I couldn't figure out the twist!! But finally I got it and this is how it turned out. I used the sunflower set from Mark's and two sayings from it. The flower is colored with Copic markers and both sayings are popped up, the one inside holds open the card. I added a couple little bees and lady bugs for fun! Thank you for stopping by - have a wonderful day!
I would like to thank Mark's Finest Papers for choosing my entry as the winner of Challenge 25 - Twisted Easel Card. I earned the "Paper Doll Chuck" stamp set!
