About Me

My photo
Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers taught me how to crochet and embroider on dish towels when I was a little girl, and that started my love of crafting. Over the years I tried different things but my favorite is still stamping and card making. And what makes it better now is that my 2 sisters like it also!! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! I love learning new ideas and techniques and give hope to others to step out of their comfort zone and try a few new things. Thanks so much for stopping by....follow along if you'd like and see what we can create!!

MFP Challenge 8 - Z fold card

MFP Challenge 8 - Z fold card

I used 2 stamps from Marks Finest Papers "Friends" stamp set for this card. I colored the flowers with Copic markers and used distress ink on the white edges. After I embossed the white card stock, I used the distress ink to give it just a little color. This was a very easy tutorial to follow and I like how easily it all came together.

MFP Challenge 7 - Block it Off

MFP Challenge 7 - Block it Off

I really enjoyed this challenge....it was easier than I thought it would be.  I used one of my favorite "fishy" stamps from Mark's Finest Papers.  I hope Craig catches a few of these this week!!

MFP January Blog Hop - Fingerpaint Bookmark

MFP January Blog Hop Tutorial - Fingerpaint Bookmark

I used blue, yellow, green and gray gelatos for my colors and stamps from Mark's Finest North American Woods stamp set.  I was surprised at how easily the gelatos blended with just a small amount of water!  This was a fun tutorial!!

MFP Challenge 6

MFP Stampshop Challenge 6 - CAS Hearts

I used a sentiment stamp from Mark's Finest Take Time stamp set and paired it with a die cut and heart punch to make a heart bouquet.  The embossed paper outlined with a gold leafing pen has X's and O's on it to represent hugs and kisses.

MFP January Blog Hop - Watercolor Background

MFP January Blog Hop - Watercolor Background Tutorial

This was a fun tutorial and I was surprised at how easy the colors blended together once the water was added!  I used a few of Mark's stamps.....the Daisy flowers, the butterfly and the sentiment.
