About Me

My photo
Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers taught me how to crochet and embroider on dish towels when I was a little girl, and that started my love of crafting. Over the years I tried different things but my favorite is still stamping and card making. And what makes it better now is that my 2 sisters like it also!! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! I love learning new ideas and techniques and give hope to others to step out of their comfort zone and try a few new things. Thanks so much for stopping by....follow along if you'd like and see what we can create!!

I colored the background pieces with daubers and ink.  All the other images were colored with Copic markers and fussy cut out. The canoe image is popped up with pop dots.  There is a touch of Fresh Sage Silk  and Sparkle Silk from Fun Stampers Journey on the water piece.

I do hope you'll check out our challenge this week and uplink your creation for a chance to win some awesome product from Newton's Nook.  Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 406

Welcome to Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 406, sponsored by the lovely CraftyGirl, with a theme of "Up in the Air".  Thank you so much to CrafyGirl for providing this wonderful "Air Balloons" image for the design team to use.  Please check out her website for the nice variety of hand-drawn images she has to offer! They are amazing!

I colored the balloons with Copic markers in a variety of colors and then used a Spectrum Noir sparkle marker over most of the image.  I added a few enamel dots in various colors from Fun Stampers Journey, and a birthday die cut (sorry, can't remember who it's from).  This image was then layered on two coordinating pieces of designer paper from my ever-growing stash.  :-)

I hope you visit Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 406 this week and get your project linked up for a chance to win!  We love seeing your creativity!  Thank you so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

A clear rhinestone on her necklace is the finishing touch.

PIP Challenge 1832

YAY!  It's time for another PIP Challenge!  This week's challenge is "Anything Goes" and is sponsored by Limited Runs Digi Stamps.  Thank you very much to Limited Runs for providing an image for the design team to use. I chose this adorable "Ollie the Giraffe" image that came with 4 sentiments.  Isn't it cute?  Please visit their website to see all the other awesome products they have to offer.  You won't be disappointed!!

I colored Ollie with Copic markers and mounted this on a piece of blue designer paper, matching it to the blue circles and other blue panel.  I punched out different size circles in 3 colors and placed them randomly on the base card. Then I popped up Ollie's image with pop dots and added a popped up sentiment from the same set.

Please visit our challenge this week and upload your project for a chance to win 3 digital images from Limited Runs Digi Stamps - a great prize!!  Thank you so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

PIP Challenge 1831

Can't believe it's August already!  And it's time for another PIP Challenge, too!  This week we are sponsored by Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  Thanks so much to them for being an awesome sponsor.  They kindly provided an image for us to work with, and I chose "Ellie the Elephant".  Isn't she adorable?  I love her facial expression!!  Be sure to visit their website to see all the other adorable images they have available.

This is really a CAS card - I colored the image with Copic markers and popped it up with pop dots on this adorable piece of patterned paper from my stash.  Then I stamped the sentiment (from Fiskars) on a piece of coordinating card stock and popped that up as well.  A few silver sequins later, and I was finished.

I couldn't resist making another card with this adorable image. This one I masked and used a background stamp from Fun Stampers Journey.  I colored Ellie with Copic markers and added a little pink bow and a few sequins. The sentiment (Stampin' Up) was stamped right on top of Ellie. The finishing touch was some Journey glaze on her eyes.

Please visit our challenge this week to see some great inspiration from the other design team members and get your project linked up for a chance to win product from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!
