About Me
- Terri Winske
- Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers taught me how to crochet and embroider on dish towels when I was a little girl, and that started my love of crafting. Over the years I tried different things but my favorite is still stamping and card making. And what makes it better now is that my 2 sisters like it also!! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! I love learning new ideas and techniques and give hope to others to step out of their comfort zone and try a few new things. Thanks so much for stopping by....follow along if you'd like and see what we can create!!

MFP Stamps 22
MFP Stamps Challenge 22 - Turquoise
I colored my flower from Marks Finest Papers with Copic markers and mounted it on an embossed piece of turquoise paper with some pop dots. I colored the ribbon to match and used a Happy Birthday sentiment (also from Marks') stamped in turquoise ink. It's hard to see from the picture, but there are glitter accents on the flower petals and leaves. Thanks for stopping by.....have a great day!
May 31, 2016. Tuesday Throwdown - Proud of You
This is my first post as a Design Team Member for Tuesday Throwdown Challenge! I used Cup Kitty 2 from our sponsor Sami Stamps and stamped my sentiment in the middle of the cup after it was colored with Copic Markers. Thank you for stopping by and be sure to join in the fun at Tuesday Throwdown Challenge!

MFP Stamps Challenge 21
MFP Stamps Challenge 21 - Pleated Skirt Card
This was a very easy tutorial and it makes a nice quick card! Great directions!! I used a piece of 2-sided paper from my stash and matched the green to one of the flowers in the patterned paper. I carried the butterfly theme from the patterned paper and used this butterfly from Marks Finest Papers. The sentiment is also from Marks Finest Papers. It's hard to see in this picture, but I added just a touch of glitter to the butterfly and flowers. This will be a birthday card for a very special friend! Thanks for stopping by....have a great day!

MFP Stamps Challenge 20
MFP Stamps Challenge 20 - Half Die Cut
This tutorial was very fun and easy! I used the Daisy stamp as my focal point and a sentiment stamp from the Holiday Tags set. I embossed the top part of the card with a butterfly embossing folder from Cuttlebug and added a few butterfly embellishments. It's supposed to be a beautiful weekend here....hope to see lots of flowers and butterflies! Thanks for stopping by!

MFP Stamps Challenge 19
MFP Stamps Challenge 19 - Spring
I thought this cute little duck was perfect for a spring card. Part of the card is embossed with a houndstooth embossing folder. I used waffle paper for the flower on the inside of the card. It is hard to see from this picture, but the butterflies are glittered. Thanks for stopping by!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 292
Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 292 - Spring
For this week's challenge I chose stamps from Northwoods Rubber Stamps......a sweet hummingbird flower wreath stamp and the sentiment stamp. I stamped the image on watercolor paper and colored it with Tombow markers and water. I layered it on scraps from my stash and used just a touch of glitter on the flowers (really hard to see from this picture). We saw 2 hummingbirds in Door County this weekend....a sure sign of spring!! Thanks for stopping by - have a great day!

MFP Challenge 18 - Anything Goes
For this challenge I used a Stampendous stamp set, Kraft card stock, and some patterned paper from my stash. I colored the balloons with Copic markers and used pop dots to add some dimension. The black dots were made with a pearl pen. Such a fun birthday card....thanks for stopping by to take a look!

MFP April Blog Hop
MFP April Blog Hop - Bugs and Butterflies
This is my retiform card using the tutorial in Mark's Finest Papers' April Blog Hop. I used a bright pink and a softer bamboo color to fill in the background, then stamped images from stamp sets Hello Butterflies and Bring On The Sun in a light brown. I made a tag using the same colors and popped it up. This was a fun technique and I liked how easy it was! Thanks for a great tutorial!!
