Happy Monday, and welcome to another PIP Challenge. This week is Challenge 1731, and because it is the 5th Monday of the month we have a theme: circles!! Our sponsor this week is Di's Digis. Please check out all the wonderful products they have!!
The possibilities are endless with circles!! I had so many ideas and settled on this one of die cut circles made into flowers. I used various sizes of circle die cuts along with scraps of paper from my stash - because you know I am the queen of scraps!! I cut stems and leaves and stamped a birthday sentiment from Fun Stampers Journey. All were layered on a piece of white cardstock embossed with the swiss dot embossing folder. I added a single gem stone in the middle of each flower, and that was it! SO much fun to make!! Please check out all the other great cards from the design team members at the challenge, and get your entry in for a chance to win some great product from Di's Digis! Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!
About Me
- Terri Winske
- Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers taught me how to crochet and embroider on dish towels when I was a little girl, and that started my love of crafting. Over the years I tried different things but my favorite is still stamping and card making. And what makes it better now is that my 2 sisters like it also!! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! I love learning new ideas and techniques and give hope to others to step out of their comfort zone and try a few new things. Thanks so much for stopping by....follow along if you'd like and see what we can create!!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 353
Welcome to Tuesday and another Tuesday Throwdown Challenge!! Challenge 353 is a color challenge.....black, white plus 1 other color of your choice. We are sponsored this week by MHK Designs, and I have used "Get Well Flowers" as my image. Please check out all the wonderful images at MHK Designs.....there are so many good ones!
I printed my image on white cardstock and then cut a scalloped circle from another piece of white cardstock. I cut a second scalloped circle out of black cardstock and layered them over my "Get Well Flowers" image. I colored the flowers with Copic markers, added some Wink of Stella and Journey Glaze (Fun Stampers Journey) on top of that. I used some black and white ribbon from my stash and printed a sentiment from Northwoods Stamps, layering this on black cardstock overtop of the ribbon. I appreciate you stopping by.....thank you for leaving a comment, and I hope to see you in the challenge. Be sure to check out the beautiful cards by the other design team members here. Have a wonderful day!

PIP Challeng 1729
Welcome to PIP Challenge 1729, sponsored this week by Newton's Nook. I love Newton and all the stamps at Newton's Nook....if you haven't browsed their site, please do because you will find the cutest stamps there!!
My honey fell a few days ago and has some badly bruised ribs, so I made this card for him using "Newton's Sick Day" stamp set. I kept it kind-of plain and low-key, as he's not a real frilly kind of guy and isn't doing a whole lot of laughing right now. He liked it and said it made him smile. Mission accomplished!! Thank you so much for stopping by - please check out the other great cards by the design team members at the challenge. I'm looking forward to seeing your creation this week. Have a wonderful day!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 351
It's Tuesday, and you know what that means.......another Tuesday Throwdown Challenge!!! This week we are sponsored by Sweet n Sassy Stamps, and I chose this adorable ice cream cone and sentiment. It's definitely summer in Wisconsin, and I sure could go for an ice cream cone!! Be sure to browse through all the cute stamps at Sweet n Sassy!
I made my background using a stamp from Walter and Winnie and colored in the baubles with gel markers. I colored the ice cream cone and sentiment with Copic markers and layered them on the base piece. I added a few sequins for fun. Thank you for stopping by - please be sure to check out all the great design team cards at this week's challenge and upload your entry. Have a wonderful day!

PIP Challenge 1727
Welcome to Pammies Inky Pinkies (PIP) Challenge 1727....an "Anything Goes" challenge! This week we are sponsored by Sparkle N Sprinkle, and I have chosen a digital image called "Expresso Yourself". I colored it with Copic markers and popped it up on a tan piece of paper that was half embossed with a Darice embossing folder. I tied ribbon around that before layering it on my base cardstock from my stash. The sentiment is from Newton's Nook and works perfectly with this image! The finishing touch was a sparkly gelly roll pen on the coffee steam.
Thanks so much for stopping by - be sure to check out all the other awesome cards at PIP Challenge and get your project uploaded . Looking forward to seeing what you create! Have a wonderful day!!
