Welcome to PIP Challenge 1838, an "Anything Goes" challenge sponsored this week by Ching-Chou Kuik Digis. Thanks so much to them for being an awesome sponsor and for providing this image for the design team to use. It's called "Night Shadow 2", and I think it's just beautiful! You can check out all their awesome designs HERE.
I wanted to add just a touch of color so as not to take away from the owl image, so I sparingly colored with Copic Markers. I also added a little Spectrum Noir sparkle marker in the flowers and on the owl. I finished it off with 3 brads in a matching color.
Please visit our challenge this week to see the awesome inspiration from the other design team members and be sure to get your project linked up for a chance to win a really nice prize from our sponsor! It's really nice that you stopped by - I appreciate it!! Thank you, and have a wonderful day!
About Me
- Terri Winske
- Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers taught me how to crochet and embroider on dish towels when I was a little girl, and that started my love of crafting. Over the years I tried different things but my favorite is still stamping and card making. And what makes it better now is that my 2 sisters like it also!! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! I love learning new ideas and techniques and give hope to others to step out of their comfort zone and try a few new things. Thanks so much for stopping by....follow along if you'd like and see what we can create!!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 410
It's Tuesday, and you know what that means......Yes, a new challenge at Tuesday Throwdown!! This week we are sponsored by the lovely Crafty Girl, and our theme is "Add some Texture". Thanks so much to Crafty Girl for providing images for the design team to use. I chose this one called "Flower Trio"and surprisingly I knew just what I wanted to do with it the moment I saw it! (Rare for me!)
I cut the image into 3 panels, colored each with Copic markers and ran them through 3 different embossing folders before mounting on black cardstock. Then I ran the background paper through a swiss dot embossing folder (good ole' standby!!) I added a small sentiment from Fun Stampers Journey. The finishing touches are enamel dots, clear gems and a little Spectrum Noir sparkle marker.
I hope you will visit Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 410 and see the awesome inspiration from the other design team members. Be sure to add your "textured" project to the link for a chance to win a nice prize from our wonderful sponsor. Thank you so much for stopping by......have a wonderful day!

PIP Challenge 1837
Welcome to PIP Challenge 1837, an Anything Goes challenge, sponsored this week by Sparkle N Sprinkle. Thank you very much to Sparkle N Sprinkle for providing this lovely image for us to work with! It's called Happiness Greetings. Be sure to check out their website for some very lovely images!
I colored the flower and leaves with Copic markers and then fussy cut out the leaves and attached to the flower image. I used Fun Stampers Journey dies (Journey Circles) to cut out the sentiment and popped it up with pop dots. I added a few enamel dots for accent and used a Spectrum Noir sparkle marker on the flower. I found some coordinating paper in my stash to layer it all up. Please visit our challenge this week to see some amazing inspiration from our design team members and be sure to get your project linked up for a chance to win a very nice prize from our sponsor. I wanted to make a card this week for my nephew's wedding. I used a Stampin' Up embossing folder (Lovely Floral) and embossed it on a piece of wedding invitation paper I had. It's hard to tell from this picture, but I used a Spectrum Noir clear sparkle marker in the petal areas of the flowers. I added a sentiment from Fun Stampers Journey and a triple bow of silver thread.
Please visit our challenge this week to see some great inspiration from the other design team members and get your creation linked up for a chance to win a wonderful prize from Di's Digis. Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

PIP Challenge 1835
Hello, and welcome to PIP Challenge 1835, an Anything Goes challenge sponsored this week by Bugaboo Stamps. Thank you so much to Bugaboo Stamps for providing an image for the Design Team members to use. I chose this adorable "Best Wishes Dandelion" image. Please visit their website to see all the awesome product they have available. You won't go away disappointed!!
At first I wanted to create a clean and simple card this week, but after I started pulling items from my stash, I decided on a black and white card and used this beautiful corner ornamental die - and I'm sorry to say I don't know whose it is. I embossed the white piece with Fun Stampers Journey "Petals Wall" embossing folder. I layered the Best Wishes image on black paper and popped it up with pop dots on top of the black and white ribbon from my stash. It's hard to see in this picture, but the dandelion image is covered in Spectrum Noir sparkle marker. I added a few pearls for embellishment. Please visit our challenge this week and uplink your creation for a chance to win a prize from Bugaboo Stamps! Thank you so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!
