About Me

My photo
Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers taught me how to crochet and embroider on dish towels when I was a little girl, and that started my love of crafting. Over the years I tried different things but my favorite is still stamping and card making. And what makes it better now is that my 2 sisters like it also!! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! I love learning new ideas and techniques and give hope to others to step out of their comfort zone and try a few new things. Thanks so much for stopping by....follow along if you'd like and see what we can create!!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 442

Welcome to Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 442.  Our theme this time is "Happy Birthday".  Our lovely sponsor is Color of Love, and this image is called "Rory's Hollyhocks".  I made this card for my niece, whose birthday is this week.  I'm wishing her a very special birthday!!  I colored the image with Copic markers and added a few touches of Spectrum Noir Sparkle Marker.  The designer paper is from my stash, as is the black twine and black embellishments.  The sentiment is my all-time favorite go-to birthday stamp from Door County Rubber Stamps.  Please check out our Challenge 442 and uplink your image for a chance to win a really nice prize from Color of Love.  So glad you stopped by....have a great week!
