About Me
- Terri Winske
- Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers taught me how to crochet and embroider on dish towels when I was a little girl, and that started my love of crafting. Over the years I tried different things but my favorite is still stamping and card making. And what makes it better now is that my 2 sisters like it also!! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! I love learning new ideas and techniques and give hope to others to step out of their comfort zone and try a few new things. Thanks so much for stopping by....follow along if you'd like and see what we can create!!

PIP Challenge 1850
Hello! It's time for PIP Challenge 1850, sponsored this week by Polkadoodles. Thanks very much to Polkadoodles for providing an image for the design team to use in our challenge. Check out all their great products....you won't be disappointed! This image is called "Buying the Tree". I printed it in two sizes and decided to color them both the same and finish them off differently. I can't decide which I like better - what do you think? Copic markers were used to color the images, and then I used my very favorite Spectrum Noir sparkle markers to highlight areas. The blue paper is embossed with a swiss dot embossing folder. Please visit our challenge HERE and upload your project for a chance to win an awesome prize from Polkadoodles. We really enjoy seeing what you create! Thanks for taking the time to stop by - I hope you have an amazing day!!

PIP Challenge 1849
Happy Monday, and welcome to PIP (Pammies Inky Pinkies) Challenge 1849. We are sponsored this week by the lovely Di's Digis. Thank you so much to Di's Digis for being such a wonderful sponsor of our challenges. We really appreciate them! Please check out all their products HERE. This week my goal was to use up some Christmas paper I had been holding onto (for a really long time). I used a Crafters Companion rough edge circle die cut to frame the tree and then simply scored the tan paper 1/4" from the edge all around. It adds just a touch of dimension. The twine was from my stash and the sentiment from Endless Creations. Thank you to my friends Judy and Pam for letting me play in their craft rooms!! Please visit PIP Challenge 1849 to see some great inspiration from the other design team members and uplink your creation for a chance to win a $12 Gift Certificate from Di's Digis…..what an awesome prize!!! Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 419
Our photo inspiration this week is this:
I was inspired by the plaid pattern in the pillows, bedspread and ribbon on the wreath. I also wanted to follow the Christmas theme and did that in the sentiment. I also brought in a few pine needles that reminded me of the wreath. All products in my card are from Stampin' Up.
I hope you'll join our photo inspiration challenge - remember, it's whatever catches your eye that inspires you. You can see the other design team members' creations HERE. Thanks so much for stopping by.

PIP Challenge 1843
Welcome to PIP Challenge 1843, sponsored by Di's Digis. Our theme this week is LEAVES. Thanks so much to Di's Digis for being a great sponsor - check out all their wonderful products HERE.
I had so many ideas for a "leaves" card and ended up using an embossing folder technique. I dobbered ink on the inside of the embossing folder, using different fall colors. Then I ran a piece of white cardstock through the machine with the embossing folder, creating a background of leaves. I used a single leaf image from Fun Stampers Journey and colored it with Copic markers. I layered it on a piece of gold cardstock from my stash. I made a banner of 2 other fall colors for accent. I added 3 gold sequins to finish off the card. I haven't decided what kind of card it will be yet, so no sentiment was added. Please visit our challenge this week to see some awesome inspiration from the other design team members and get your project uplinked for a chance to win a really nice prize from Di's Digis. PIP Challenge 1842
Welcome to PIP Challenge 1842, an Anything Goes Challenge, sponsored this week by Digital Delights by Louby Loo. I've chosen this cute image called Dr. Dan. Please visit Digital Delights website to see all the wonderful products there!
I colored the image with watercolor pencils and an aqua pen and after it was all finished I wasn't sure what kind of card to make it. So for now it is a generic card. I used Spellbinders dies to cut it out and added a few enamel dots. I added just a touch of Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to the light and glasses.
So glad you stopped by - be sure to check out our challenge this week at PIP Challenges and get your project uplinked for a chance to win a nice prize from our sponsor. Have a wonderful day!

Thanks so much to DRS Designs for providing an image for the design team to use - I chose this sentiment called Hello How Are You. Please visit their website to see all their wonderful products!
I used up some paper scraps from my stash (love doing that!!) and used a circle die to cut the sentiment and a scalloped die to frame it. I added a few pearl embellishments as the finishing touch.
The sentiment is perfect this time of year, as we have a lot of friends from our campground closing up their units for the winter and leaving for "home". We always try to stay in touch with them during the winter months, and this is a card I can send out many times!! So to all our camping friends....safe travels, have a great winter and see you next spring!
Please visit our challenge HERE to see some great inspiration from our design team and get your project uplinked for a chance to win a very nice prize from DRS Designs. Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a great day!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 412
Hello, and welcome to Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 412, sponsored by All Dressed Up. Our theme this week is "For a Cause". Thank you very much to All Dressed Up for providing an image for the design team members to use. This cutie is from the image "Little Summer Girl 4". Visit their website HERE to see all the lovely products they have.
It was difficult for me to decide on a single cause for my card, because there are so many great causes out there. I decided my cause was to lend a helping hand to anyone needing it, whether it be for cancer, depression, domestic violence, etc. Providing support for your friend(s) in need is really important to me and I definitely want to help out in any way I can. "If someone listens or stretches out a hand or whispers a word of encouragement or attempts to understand a lonely person, extraordinary things begin to happen." Loretta Girzartis
The circle and butterfly dies are from Stampin' Up and provide a beautiful background for the image, which was colored with Copic markers. The sentiment is also from Stampin' Up. Pearls were added for accent.
Please visit our challenge this week to see the beautiful creations by the design team members and be sure to upload your "for a cause" project for an opportunity to win a lovely prize from All Dressed Up. Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!!

Hello, and welcome to PIP Challenge 1835, an Anything Goes challenge sponsored this week by Bugaboo Stamps. Thank you so much to Bugaboo Stamps for providing an image for the Design Team members to use. I chose this adorable "Best Wishes Dandelion" image. Please visit their website to see all the awesome product they have available. You won't go away disappointed!!
At first I wanted to create a clean and simple card this week, but after I started pulling items from my stash, I decided on a black and white card and used this beautiful corner ornamental die - and I'm sorry to say I don't know whose it is. I embossed the white piece with Fun Stampers Journey "Petals Wall" embossing folder. I layered the Best Wishes image on black paper and popped it up with pop dots on top of the black and white ribbon from my stash. It's hard to see in this picture, but the dandelion image is covered in Spectrum Noir sparkle marker. I added a few pearls for embellishment. Please visit our challenge this week and uplink your creation for a chance to win a prize from Bugaboo Stamps! Thank you so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

PIP Challenge 1831
Can't believe it's August already! And it's time for another PIP Challenge, too! This week we are sponsored by Digital Delights by Louby Loo. Thanks so much to them for being an awesome sponsor. They kindly provided an image for us to work with, and I chose "Ellie the Elephant". Isn't she adorable? I love her facial expression!! Be sure to visit their website to see all the other adorable images they have available.
This is really a CAS card - I colored the image with Copic markers and popped it up with pop dots on this adorable piece of patterned paper from my stash. Then I stamped the sentiment (from Fiskars) on a piece of coordinating card stock and popped that up as well. A few silver sequins later, and I was finished.
I couldn't resist making another card with this adorable image. This one I masked and used a background stamp from Fun Stampers Journey. I colored Ellie with Copic markers and added a little pink bow and a few sequins. The sentiment (Stampin' Up) was stamped right on top of Ellie. The finishing touch was some Journey glaze on her eyes.
Please visit our challenge this week to see some great inspiration from the other design team members and get your project linked up for a chance to win product from Digital Delights by Louby Loo. Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

Do you know how sometimes you can see your finished card in your head prior to it being made? And then sometimes it doesn't turn out anything like you thought it would? THAT'S my card this week....turned out nothing like I thought it would!! (lol) I wanted to make a nice sunny, summery scene behind Newton taking a nap to fit in with our theme this week. So I used images from Stampin' Up's High Tide set. I stamped Newton and fussy cut him out and colored him with Copic markers. I popped him up with pop dots. I added a little sparkle marker from Spectrum Noir on the flowers and butterflies and just a touch on the water to make it sparkly.
Please check out the awesome inspiration from the other design team members at this week's challenge and be sure to uplink your project for a chance to win free product from Newton's Nook. Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 402
Hello and welcome to Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 402. Our theme this week is "Heatwave", which means use hot colors. Our awesome sponsor this week is Winnie and Walter. If you haven't had a chance to see their website, do yourself a favor and visit them....you will not be disappointed!! And you'll probably come away with some darling sets, too! Thank you to them for providing a stamp set for the design team to use. I chose "Shirley's Blooms" and "Hello Cutaway".
I had my card in mind the second I saw this set - a pretty rare thing for me! But with the "Heatwave" theme I knew I wanted flowers in hot colors and a simple sentiment so as not to detract from the flowers. I stamped the individual flowers on white cardstock, then die cut the "Hello" in the same color as the base cards. I added some pink stickles and some Spectrum Noir sparkle marker. Just a few clear rhinestones and I was finished.
Please visit our challenge this week HERE to see some great inspiration from the other design team members, and be sure to upload your creative project for a chance to win a prize from Winnie & Walter. Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!
