About Me
- Terri Winske
- Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers taught me how to crochet and embroider on dish towels when I was a little girl, and that started my love of crafting. Over the years I tried different things but my favorite is still stamping and card making. And what makes it better now is that my 2 sisters like it also!! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! I love learning new ideas and techniques and give hope to others to step out of their comfort zone and try a few new things. Thanks so much for stopping by....follow along if you'd like and see what we can create!!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 394
Welcome to Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 394 where our theme this week is "Create Your Own Background" and our sponsor is Kindred Stamps.. How fun is that?? I used a mixture of ribbon and washi tape scraps from my stash to create a background in navy and gold. I used a Father's Day stamp from Paper Inspirations and layered this on navy and white cardstock. The finishing touch was a few gold stars for embellishment. Be sure to check out our challenge this week and get your project uploaded. Thank you so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!!

PIP Challenge 1821
Welcome to PIP Challenge 1821, an Anything Goes Challenge, sponsored this week by Di's Digis. Thank you to Di's Digis for being our sponsor this week - I am using this adorable image from their product line called "Sunflower Ted". Please visit Di's Digis to see the other great products they have to offer! I colored the image with Copic markers and added some sparkle with my Sparkle Pen from Spectrum Noir. The background is made with washi tape and adhesive ribbon from my stash. I have been struggling with how to use washi tape for a long time and I finally stepped out of my comfort zone and tried this. After applying the washi and ribbon tape, I mounted the piece on black cardstock and then again on the base card. I added a sentiment from Stampendous and 3 black rhinestones to finish it off. Thanks so much for stopping by - check out our challenge this week to see some wonderful inspiration from the other members of the Design Team and be sure to get your project linked up for a chance to win some product from Di's Digis. So great to see you here, as always, and have a wonderful day!

PIP Challenge 1820
Welcome to PIP Challenge 1820, an Anything Goes challenge sponsored this week by Sparkle N Sprinkle. Thank you so much to Sparkle N Sprinkle for providing an image for us to use. I chose this beautiful Happy Birthday sentiment called "Love and Laughter". Please visit their website to see all the great products they have to offer.
I printed the sentiment on white card stock and "daubered" the background with distress inks (Broken China and Peacock Feather). One of my daubers was pretty worn and it made a feathery design, which I really liked. Then I used black ink and a Tim Holtz stencil (Wildflowers) to make the flowers on the bottom of the card. I added some black twine and a black gem for dimension and spritzed the whole thing with shimmer mist. I layered this on black cardstock and then again on a white card base.
Please visit our challenge this week to see the wonderful cards made by the other Design Team members, and link up your creation for a chance to win product from this week's sponsor, Sparkle N Sprinkle. Thank you so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

Thank you so much to Digital Delights for providing a digital image for the design team to work with! I chose "Ice Cream Roxy" and colored it with Copic markers. PIP Challenge 1818
Happy Monday, and welcome to Pammies Inky Pinkies (PIP) Challenge 1818, an Anything Goes challenge sponsored this week by Newton's Nook. Thank you so much to Newton's Nook for being such an awesome sponsor! I am using stamps from "Newton's Birthday Bash". Be sure to visit Newton's Nook website to see all the delicious products they have!!
I used an embossing resist technique this week, stamping my background images with VersaMark on white paper and using white embossing powder. Then I heat embossed the piece and applied ink in 3 different colors. The embossed images resist the colored ink and show up white in the background. I colored Newton and his presents with Copic markers and used a couple of dies to make a decorative circle piece. I added some ribbon from my stash and just a touch of Spectrum Noir sparkle pen on the ribbons of the presents. A quick "Happy Birthday" sentiment and I was finished!
Thank you so much for stopping by - love seeing you and hope you will check out the other design team members inspiration at our challenge. I can't wait to see your entry into our drawing for some Newton's Nook product!! Have a wonderful day!
