About Me

My photo
Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers taught me how to crochet and embroider on dish towels when I was a little girl, and that started my love of crafting. Over the years I tried different things but my favorite is still stamping and card making. And what makes it better now is that my 2 sisters like it also!! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! I love learning new ideas and techniques and give hope to others to step out of their comfort zone and try a few new things. Thanks so much for stopping by....follow along if you'd like and see what we can create!!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 424

Happy Tuesday, and welcome to Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 424.  This week's theme is "Anything Goes" and we are sponsored by the lovely Lilly Patch Boutique.  Please be sure to visit Kim's website to see all the beautiful creations she has made. Thanks so much to Kim and Lilly Patch Boutique for being a valued sponsor of Tuesday Throwdown Challenges!

My card this week features all products from Stampin' Up.  I'm always needing a "guy" birthday card, and this one was perfect!!  It was very easy to make, just a few simple steps of embossing, die cutting and coloring.  My favorite part was the key embellishment.....the perfect embellishment for this card. I know the man I'm sending this to will appreciate it!

Please check out our Challenge 424 and see the awesome inspiration from the other design team members.  I'm looking forward to seeing your "Anything Goes" creation for a chance to win a super prize from Lilly Patch Boutique!  Good Luck and thanks for stopping by!

PIP Challenge 1904

Welcome to Monday, and PIP Challenge 1904.  Our challenge this week is Anything Goes and is sponsored by Newton's Nook.  This image is from the Holiday Smooches set.  Thank you very much to Newton's Nook for being such an awesome sponsor of Pammies Inky Pinkies (PIP) Challenges - we love having you!!  You can find their beautiful images at Newton's Nook website HERE.
I colored the image with Copic Markers and fussy cut it out. It is layered with pop dots on a partially cut heart die cut piece and further layered on a piece of patterned paper from my stash.  I cut a few baby hearts out of the same patterned paper for embellishment. A scalloped scissors was used to make the decorative edge.  I'm so glad you stopped by - please be sure to check out all the other design team members' cards at our challenge this week.  Have an awesome week!

I am entering this card in Newton's Nook Inky Paws Challenge 90.

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 423

Welcome to Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 423.  Our theme this challenge is EMBOSSING, so get out your embossing folders and go crazy!!  Our wonderful sponsor this time is DRS Designs. Please visit their website to see the beautiful products they have.  Thank you to DRS Designs for providing an image for the design team members to use - I chose this amazing sentiment called "Song In My Heart".  I thought this would be a really versatile sentiment for wedding, anniversary or even Valentines Day.  I used the Softly Falling embossing folder from Stampin' Up and a die cut flower (sorry - can't remember where it came from). A few pearls finished off the card.
Thank you so much for stopping by - I do hope you'll join our Embossing Challenge at Tuesday Throwdown.  I'm looking so forward to seeing what you create!!
