About Me

My photo
Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers taught me how to crochet and embroider on dish towels when I was a little girl, and that started my love of crafting. Over the years I tried different things but my favorite is still stamping and card making. And what makes it better now is that my 2 sisters like it also!! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! I love learning new ideas and techniques and give hope to others to step out of their comfort zone and try a few new things. Thanks so much for stopping by....follow along if you'd like and see what we can create!!

PIP Challenge 1943

Welcome to PIP Challenge 1943, an Anything Goes challenge sponsored this week by Imagine That
Digi Stamps.  This adorable image is called "Bird Trio" and was so much fun to color with my Copic markers!  Be sure to visit their website to see all the wonderful products they offer.  I got out my Christmas designer paper packs - whew, there were a lot of them!! I decided on this 2-tone green piece and matched up some cardstock to use as a base.  A couple of die cuts later and some Spectrum Noir sparkle marker accents, and I was done.  A quick and easy card to start my Christmas card making for the season.  I hope you'll check out our Challenge 1943 and uplink your idea for a chance to win a $12 gift code from Imagine That.  It's so much fun shopping there!!  Have a great week!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 443

It's time again for Tuesday Throwdown Challenge!  This Challenge is #443 and our theme is one layer wonder.  Our awesome sponsor is Crafty Girl Designs.  This image is called Halloween Broom and was fun to work with.  I used black cardstock as my base and printed the image on white cardstock.  Using a die cut circle as a mask, I daubered yellow, orange and a little gray ink around the image.  I colored the image itself with Copic markers.   The BOO! sentiment was from my stash. No other embellishment was needed for the one-layer wonder.  I hope you'll check out Crafty Girl Creations and our challenge this week to see some awesome inspiration from the other design team members.  We'd love for you to uplink your one-layer wonder for a chance to win a really nice prize.  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a Happy Halloween!!

Happy Monday, and welcome to PIP Challenge 1941, an "Anything Goes" challenge sponsored this week by Newton's Nook.  Now, everyone knows how much I love Newton's Nook, and I couldn't resist playing with the "Meow stencil".  I used Nuvo glitter paste on both stencils.  Such an easy background, as this paste dries really fast!  I hope you will check out Newton's Nook to see their awesome products!  And be sure to check out our challenge too!  You can uplink your creation for a chance to win an awesome prize from Newton's Nook - woo hoo!   Thanks very much for stopping by - sure was nice to see you!
