About Me

My photo
Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers taught me how to crochet and embroider on dish towels when I was a little girl, and that started my love of crafting. Over the years I tried different things but my favorite is still stamping and card making. And what makes it better now is that my 2 sisters like it also!! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! I love learning new ideas and techniques and give hope to others to step out of their comfort zone and try a few new things. Thanks so much for stopping by....follow along if you'd like and see what we can create!!

PIP Challenge 1811

Welcome to Monday and another PIP Challenge....this one is an "Anything Goes" challenge sponsored by Sparkle N Sprinkle.  I'd like to thank Sparkle N Sprinkle for providing an image for us to use.....they have so many nice images it was a very tough decision, but I decided on "Flower Silhouette".  It's hard to see in the picture, but this is a very sparkly card because I colored it with my Spectrum Noir sparkle pens.  Probably the sparkliest card I've ever made!!

Thank you for stopping by, and be sure to check out our challenge this week.  There's some great inspiration from the other members of the design team!!  Have a wonderful day!!

PIP Challenge 1810

Welcome to PIP Challenge 1810, an Anything Goes theme sponsored by Di's Digis this week.  Please check out her website for some very adorable images!!  I am using one called "Train for Ted", and it was so much fun to color with my Copic markers.  I used cardstock from my stash and used regular and scalloped circle dies and an embossing folder with bigger dots on it (sorry, not sure who made it).  I added a few sequins for embellishment and a sentiment from Fiskars. Be sure to check out our challenge this week for some great inspiration from the other design team members!  Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

PIP Challenge 1809

Welcome to PIP Challenge 1809, an "Anything Goes" challenge sponsored by Ching-Chou Kuik Digis.  I would like to thank our sponsor for providing an image for our team members this week.  I chose this beautiful one called "Hydrangea in a Bow".  Please be sure to visit their website to see all of their beautiful designs!!

I colored the image with Copic markers and added some eye shadow with Spectrum Noir metallic pencils. It's hard to see in the picture, but there are also accents with Spectrum Noir sparkle pens in the flowers and in her hair. I used a nested die cut (sorry - I don't know the brand) to frame her and used a Darice embossing folder on the top layer.  The final touch was a bow in the middle.  I didn't add a sentiment yet....saving that part for when I need the card.  It will probably be either a birthday card or "thinking of you" card.  Please check out our challenge this week and see the other beautiful creations by the design team members.  Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!
