About Me

My photo
Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers taught me how to crochet and embroider on dish towels when I was a little girl, and that started my love of crafting. Over the years I tried different things but my favorite is still stamping and card making. And what makes it better now is that my 2 sisters like it also!! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! I love learning new ideas and techniques and give hope to others to step out of their comfort zone and try a few new things. Thanks so much for stopping by....follow along if you'd like and see what we can create!!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 321 - Make A Tag

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 321 - Make A Tag

Welcome to another Tuesday Throwdown Challenge - this week our theme is Make A Tag.  What a great theme for the upcoming holidays.....we all need to make gift tags, right?  Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps.  If you have not checked out their website yet, please do because they have the most adorable images!

For my card I used Bugaboo Stamps "Frame it - Bears Birthday".  I fussy cut out the image from the outside frame and colored it using Copic markers.  I matched up a few pieces of scrap paper from my stash as the background papers.  I used a simple white ribbon on the top of the tag. Such a sweet image and perfect for a birthday tag for kids of all ages!  I hope you'll join us this week in the challenge -  I look forward to seeing your entry.   Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 320 - Add Gems/Pearls

Welcome to this week's Tuesday Throwdown Challenge - our theme is to add gems/pearls.  Our sponsor this week is Sweet n Sassy Stamps - be sure to check them out, as they have both stamp sets and digital images as well as other great products!!

I used the digital image "Cocoa's Christmas Tree", stamped it on watercolor paper and used Tombow markers and a water pen to color it.  The frame was made using a die cut with white glitter paper.  I used a blue card base and a sentiment from Fun Stampers Journey.  Then I added the digital image and finally the glittery frame.  For embellishments, I added a variety of gems in different colors and used gold Stickles for the star.  Thank you for stopping by - I hope to see your entry in the challenge!! Have a wonderful day!

Craft Your Passion Challenge 337

Craft Your Passion Challenge 337

My card was made using Northwoods Rubber Stamps. I used Tombow markers and a water brush to color the image, which was mounted on an embossed piece of metallic card stock.  Then I mounted this piece on two more pieces of colored cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment (also from Northwoods Rubber Stamps) on a small piece of light green cardstock and mounted it on the bottom of the snow globe.  To finish the card, I added a dark green bow.  Thank you for stopping by....have a wonderful day!

MFP Challenge 44 - Anything Goes - Card 3

MFP Challenge 44 - Anything Goes - Card 3
Well, it's official.....I started my Christmas cards!! (lol)    This card is made with stamps from Northwoods Rubber Stamps on watercolor paper and watercolored with Tombow markers and an aqua pen.  I have really grown to love watercoloring! I started with a red base and a layer of gold glitter paper.  Then I mounted dark green cardstock on both halves of the card and on top of that my watercolored pieces of the holly leaves.  I colored a poinsettia and positioned that in the middle of the card and added the sentiment stamp in the lower right corner.  It is embellished with a green ribbon with gold trim.  I hope you join in the fun at MFP Stamps Challenge this week - and thank you again for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!!

The last of my Halloween cards!  This is an adorable stamp from Northwoods Rubber Stamps, which I watercolored with Tombow markers and an aqua pen. These were really fun to color!  I like all the different faces.  I added layers of coordinated colored cardstock to make the card. The sentiment is also from Northwoods Rubber Stamps.  Thanks for stopping by.....be sure to enter this week's challenge at MFP Stamps Challenge - a great stamp set is the prize!!

For this anniversary card I used a paisley embossing folder and a die cut to make the decorative bottom edge.  I glued this onto white cardstock, which I layered on top of the white base.  I added a black piece of lace and a couple flowers to match.  The sentiment is from Stampin' Up.  I like the clean and simple look. Thank you for stopping by.....be sure to enter this week's challenge at MFP Stamp Shop - it's Anything Goes!!  Have a wonderful day!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge #318 - Thanksgiving

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge #318 - Thanksgiving

Welcome to this week's challenge - our theme is Thanksgiving, sponsored by My Grafico
It's hard to believe it's that time already, but nature is telling me it's true.....our fall colors have been spectacular in northeast Wisconsin this year.  God's beauty is all around us, and I am thankful for so many things this year.  One of them is the wonderful friendships I have made through Tuesday Throwdown Challenges, this blog and different crafting venues. I believe we all have special talents, and it is so wonderful to be among people willing to share their talents and who are so supportive of each other. Thank you to each of you for your friendship and everything you have shared with me.  I truly appreciate you!

For this card, I used dies from Fun Stampers Journey - "Snapshot Frames".  I searched through my scraps and found fall colors, using a rust colored one for the base card, a green one for the frame, and two patterned pieces for the leaves.  The ribbon was also from my stash.  The sentiment is from our sponsor, My Grafico.  I hope to see you in this week's challenge.....thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!
