About Me

My photo
Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers introduced me to crafting as a little girl through crocheting and embroidering on dish towels. I was HOOKED!! Over the years I discovered that stamping and card making are my faves. And what makes it even better is that my 2 sisters like it also! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! I love learning different techniques and trying new things. Thanks so much for stopping by....follow along if you'd like and see what we can create!!

PIP Challenge 2507

Varada Sharma is the wonderful sponsor of PIP Challenge 2507, and we are very honored to have her!! Thank you so much for being a part of PIP Challenges!!  You can check out her awesome product line at Varada Sharma's site.  I colored this image with Spectrum Noir Tri Blend Marker in Coral, and used some matching paper from my stash to layer it up.  The burlap image is from Stampin' Up and makes a great background. I haven't decided on a sentiment yet...I'm thinking birthday or thinking of you. I'm looking forward to seeing what you create this week at PIP Challenge 2507!  Thanks for stopping by!!!

PIP Challenge 2506

Sheepski Designs is the sponsor for this week's PIP Challenge, and we are so honored!! Thank you, Sheepski Designs, for being a long-time supporter and sponsor for PIP Challenges....your images are so versatile and easy to work with!!  You can find this image (Love) and all their others at Sheepski Designs.  This image screamed GLITTER to me, so I used Spectrum Noir Tri Blend markers on the flowers and leaves, and then I colored the big heart with Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen in Inspired Violet.  I used a Stardust Jelly Roll pen and Wink of Stella on the ribbon and added a few sparkly gems for embellishment. I had some mirror paper in the right color in my never-ending paper stash and that's what I layered the image on.  I plan to use this for a wedding card in the future...just haven't picked out the sentiment just yet. So I hope to see your creation in our PIP Challenge 2506 this week and I wish you luck in the drawing!! Thanks so much for stopping  by!

PIP Challenge 2502

using Gerda's Two Bunnies and an Egg Freebie

It's a Gerda Steiner-sponsored challenge at PIP Challenges this week, and we hope you'll join us in all the fun!! Gerda has so many awesome products, and we are very blessed to have her as a sponsor!! Check them all out at the link above.  My card is a new technique for me.....a side gatefold card. The base layer is 8.5 x 5.5 inches and the right side is scored at 1.5 inches.  The left side is folded over to match up with the right side, making sure there is no gap in between.  Then patterned paper is added 1/4" smaller than that base panel on each side.  After that, you can add a circle, square, rectangle or any die cut shape of your choice with an image printed on it.  Just make sure you only glue down the left side of your shape so your card still opens!! (ask me how I know!!)  I hope you'll join us at PIP Challenge 2502 and uplink your creation for a chance to win a nice prize from Gerda Steiner Designs. Have a wonderful week!!
