About Me

My photo
Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers taught me how to crochet and embroider on dish towels when I was a little girl, and that started my love of crafting. Over the years I tried different things but my favorite is still stamping and card making. And what makes it better now is that my 2 sisters like it also!! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! I love learning new ideas and techniques and give hope to others to step out of their comfort zone and try a few new things. Thanks so much for stopping by....follow along if you'd like and see what we can create!!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 333

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 333

Welcome to Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 333....so happy to see you!  Our awesome sponsor this week is Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamps, and I have picked the image "Amy in the Garden".  Please visit their site to see some adorable images!!

I watercolored my image with Tombow markers and a water brush. I layered the image on purple and yellow cardstock and added my sentiment (from Fun Stampers Journey).  I added some pink Stickles to her bow and shirt, and added a few candies along the side.  Please be sure to check out the other Design Team Members' cards and get your entry linked up.  You could win a fabulous gift certificate from our sponsor!!  Thank you so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

  1. This is so cute! I love the purple dots. Reminds me of my brads that I really need to pull out and use.

  4. Berni's remark about Dennis the Menace's girlfriend cracked me up and now that I have read it and looked at the card again, she could be right! Terri, I never think of using the few Tombow markers I have; thanks for gently nudging me. I really like how light and airy she looks - a very cheery card. Well done.
