About Me

My photo
Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers taught me how to crochet and embroider on dish towels when I was a little girl, and that started my love of crafting. Over the years I tried different things but my favorite is still stamping and card making. And what makes it better now is that my 2 sisters like it also!! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! I love learning new ideas and techniques and give hope to others to step out of their comfort zone and try a few new things. Thanks so much for stopping by....follow along if you'd like and see what we can create!!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 335

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 335

Welcome to Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 335, where our theme this week is "Add Dimension". Our sponsor this week is Sami Stamps.  Be sure to check out their super cute line of products!
I chose a sweet image called "Mr. Gentlemen Chick" this week, printed him a couple times and colored him with Copic markers. I made a frame around each image and popped it using dimensional tape.  The background is made using Fun Stampers Journey silks - I splattered them all over a blank piece of white cardstock. The sentiment is also from Fun Stampers Journey. For the finishing touch I added a few gems from my stash.  It's hard to see on this picture, but I used Wink of Stella to give him some shimmer.    Thank you so much for stopping by - be sure to check out the other Design Team members' cards and get your entry added to the challenge!  Have a wonderful day!

  1. Terri, this is so "stinkin' cute". Great splatter control - if I did it would be a blobby mess. I love that you framed him, not once but twice - gives great balance. Your coloring is perfect too!

    1. Thanks,B! The Journey silks make it really easy to do the splatters......otherwise mine would be a blobby mess too! 😊
