Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers introduced me to crafting as a little girl through crocheting and embroidering on dish towels. I was HOOKED!! Over the years I discovered that stamping and card making are my faves. And what makes it even better is that my 2 sisters like it also! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 400

Hello, and welcome to Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 400, sponsored this week by Power Poppy.  Thank you very much to Power Poppy for providing digital images for the design team members.  I chose this one called "Tea Cake with Strawberries".  Our theme this week is a color challenge, and you can find the color palette HERE at our challenge this week.

I used Copic markers to color the image and added Journey glaze to the cake plate and Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to the strawberries.  Then I used colored cardstock from my stash for the layers.  The flowers are from my embellishment stash, and the sentiment is from Stampin' Up.   Be sure to check out the great cards from our design team, and get your project uploaded for a chance to win a prize from Power Poppy.  Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

    I would love a piece of cake, please. Seriously this looks good enough to eat. Your layering is (pardon the pun) icing on the cake! Love it!
