Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers taught me how to crochet and embroider on dish towels when I was a little girl, and that started my love of crafting. Over the years I tried different things but my favorite is still stamping and card making. And what makes it better now is that my 2 sisters like it also!! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! I love learning new ideas and techniques and give hope to others to step out of their comfort zone and try a few new things. PIP Challenge 1917

 
Welcome to PIP Challenge 1917 where our theme on this 5th Monday of April is CAS - Clean And Simple.  Our sponsor this week is Newton's Nook.  Please visit Newton's Nook to find some of the cutest images ever!!  Now, everyone knows I'm a huge Newton fan.  His antics are so sweet, and who could resist a cutie like this???  This image comes from the Newton's Kitchen set.  CAS is not always easy for me.  Keeping things one layer and with very little bling isn't as easy as it sounds!!  But I colored Newton with Copic markers and then put my sentiment in the opposite corner.  I then used a black marker to draw a frame and connect the two.  A little shading with some sponged ink and I was done.  I hope you'll join our challenge over at PIP Challenges and uplink your project for a chance to win some Newton's Nook goodies!  So glad to see you - thanks for stopping by!
