About Me

My photo
Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers taught me how to crochet and embroider on dish towels when I was a little girl, and that started my love of crafting. Over the years I tried different things but my favorite is still stamping and card making. And what makes it better now is that my 2 sisters like it also!! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! I love learning new ideas and techniques and give hope to others to step out of their comfort zone and try a few new things. Thanks so much for stopping by....follow along if you'd like and see what we can create!!

PIP Challenge 1814

Happy Monday, and welcome to PIP Challenge 1814, an Anything Goes Challenge, sponsored this week by Polkadoodles.  Thank you to Polkadoodles for providing an image for us to use....I chose this cutie called See the Signs.  Love it's versatility in being able to stamp whatever I wanted on the sign.  Please visit their website to see all the awesome products they have!!

I colored the image with Tombow markers and paper-pieced her dress.  I used an oval die cut to cut the image out.  The background was made using a plastic stencil and Nuvo Glimmer Paste...a new technique I've fallen in love with!  Love the iridescent colors!!  I added a few glittered gem stones from my stash and that's it!  I hope you'll check out our challenge this week and link up your creation for a chance to win a prize from our sponsor.  So glad to see you - thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

  1. Nuvo Glimmer Paste? I want to play with you and use this. Love how it looks and your paper choice in her dress tied in perfectly! Did I mention how much I love her hair and eyes? Great card!
