About Me

My photo
Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers taught me how to crochet and embroider on dish towels when I was a little girl, and that started my love of crafting. Over the years I tried different things but my favorite is still stamping and card making. And what makes it better now is that my 2 sisters like it also!! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! I love learning new ideas and techniques and give hope to others to step out of their comfort zone and try a few new things. Thanks so much for stopping by....follow along if you'd like and see what we can create!!

PIP Challenge 1815

Welcome to PIP Challenge 1815, an Anything Goes challenge, sponsored by Gerda Steiner this week.  Thanks very much to Gerda Steiner for providing this adorable "Strawberry Mouse" image for us to use!  Be sure to check out all the other adorable products at their site!!  So much to choose from....

I wanted to make a shaker card this week and found these plastic shaker forms in my stash.  I colored the image with Copic markers and added some Red Spectrum Noir sparkle marker - you can see it up close. I fussy cut the image out and layered it to the cardstock.  I added some sequins and beads to match my paper to the shaker form and got it all glued together. Then I added a sentiment from Fun Stampers Journey. Final touch was some black bakers twine.

I hope you check out the other inspirational cards by our design team at our challenge this week and upload your creation for a chance to win some product from Gerda Steiner.  As always, it's great to see you and I'm so glad you stopped by!  Have a wonderful day!
