Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers introduced me to crafting as a little girl through crocheting and embroidering on dish towels. I was HOOKED!! Over the years I discovered that stamping and card making are my faves. And what makes it even better is that my 2 sisters like it also! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 410

It's Tuesday, and you know what that means......Yes, a new challenge at Tuesday Throwdown!!  This week we are sponsored by the lovely Crafty Girl, and our theme is "Add some Texture".  Thanks so much to Crafty Girl for providing images for the design team to use.  I chose this one called "Flower Trio"and surprisingly I knew just what I wanted to do with it the moment I saw it!  (Rare for me!)

I cut the image into 3 panels, colored each with Copic markers and ran them through 3 different embossing folders before mounting on black cardstock.  Then I ran the background paper through a swiss dot embossing folder (good ole' standby!!) I added a small sentiment from Fun Stampers Journey.  The finishing touches are enamel dots, clear gems and a little Spectrum Noir sparkle marker.
