About Me
- Terri Winske
- Hi, my name is Terri. My grandmothers taught me how to crochet and embroider on dish towels when I was a little girl, and that started my love of crafting. Over the years I tried different things but my favorite is still stamping and card making. And what makes it better now is that my 2 sisters like it also!! It's fun when we can get together and make cards!! I love learning new ideas and techniques and give hope to others to step out of their comfort zone and try a few new things. Thanks so much for stopping by....follow along if you'd like and see what we can create!!

MFP Tutorial Challenge 36 - #2
MFP Tutorial Challenge 36 - #2 Citrus Bag Background
It's really cool how a simple citrus bag can make such a cool background! The pattern can be so varied just by stretching it a little this way or a little that way. I'm so glad I participated in this Mark's Finest Papers challenge!!
For this card I started with a pomegranate color, thinking I was going to do a fall card. But as it turned out, well.....you can see it's not really a fall card! I used the tutorial to make the background and layered it on two pomegranate colored triangles. I cut out a square of the same pomegranate cardstock, turned it and glued it in the middle of the card. I used a flower stamp from Mark's Finest Papers "Blessings" stamp sets, colored it with Copic markers and fussy cut it out. I layered this with pop dots on the square. I stamped "With Sympathy" in the corner and then added a little bit of glitter to the flower.....it's a little hard to see from this picture.
Thank you for stopping by.....have a wonderful day!
